Overview
TI Fluid Systems is a leading global manufacturer of fluid storage, carrying and delivery systems. With more than 100 years of fluid systems experience, we operate in 98 locations across 28 countries worldwide, serving major global OEMs and automakers.
We work in two main areas:
Fluid Carrying Systems (“FCS”):
The FCS division manufactures brake and fuel lines, thermal management fluid systems (including hybrid electric vehicle "HEV" and battery electric vehicle "BEV"), thermal management products and powertrain products.
We made up 30% of the global brake and fuel line market in 2021
Fuel Tank and Delivery Systems (“FTDS”):
The FTDS division produces fuel tank systems and pumps and module fuel delivery systems, including HEV pressure-resistant fuel tanks.
We’re a leading supplier of plastic fuel tanks, with 16% of the global plastic fuel tank market in 2021
With a rich heritage that spans a century of fluid systems experience, we’ve established ourselves as a globally recognised and respected supplier of mission-critical components. We work with every major OEM across the world, having developed long-term engineering, development and purchasing relationships with them all. As a result, our revenue is diversified across a broad customer base and multiple geographic regions.
We have manufacturing facilities near (or, in some cases, co-located within) OEM assembly plants in 104 locations across 29 countries, with approximately 25,600 employees.
About usOur global manufacturing footprint also positions TI Fluid Systems as the supplier of choice for OEMs who are moving towards sourcing common vehicle platforms and engine variants on a global basis. In addition, we have a long-established presence in emerging markets, including 14 wholly-owned manufacturing facilities in China.
The automotive industry is moving towards solutions that lower emissions and improve fuel economy with advanced systems and powertrains such as hybrid and battery electric vehicles. Our products – across both fluid carrying and fuel tank delivery systems – deliver efficiency and energy savings, from gasoline direct injection fuel rails and vehicle chassis thermal lines to double-moulded and pressure-resistant fuel tanks.
